Babar Azam ha estado en mala forma en todas las formas de cricket, especialmente en las pruebas, donde su promedio ha caído a 44.
Former Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has slipped out of the Top 10 rankings for Test batsmen, for the first time in five years. The development happened after ‘King Babar’s’ poor run of form in the recent PAK vs BAN Test series, that the hosts lost 0-2. Now, the 29-year-old is ranked 12th in the world, after slipping three spots in the latest rankings. Meanwhile, his teammate Mohammad Rizwan stayed at no. 10 in the rankings.
Babar Azam has 712 points right now in the Test rankings, that are topped by England’s Joe Root, with 922 points. In the Bangladesh series, the Pakistan scored 0 & 22, and 31 & 11 in both the matches.
Babar Azam’s Poor Form Continues
Babar’s average has significantly dropped in Tests. In 54 matches, he has scored 3962 runs at an average of 44. What is noteworthy is the fact that, his last ton came in December 2022, vs New Zealand in Karachi. He has not scored even a single fifty in the matches after that.
