The English Cricket Board (ECB) is ready to block sending players to appear in foreign franchise leagues during their ongoing country season. The only exception comes with the Indian Premier League. The exodus of players during the domestic season has caused grave concerns at the ECB and it is the Pakistan Super League (PSL) that has now come under the firing line with PSL and English domestic season clashing with their dates.
The England and Wales Cricket Board considers are keen to protect their players. However, the board is willing to send the players to the Indian Premier League (IPL) as it is the world’s best T20 league. But, for playing in the IPL, the players need to provide a NOC by the county and ECB to take part in it.
