Who is Manish Narwal?

Hailing from Ballabgarh, Haryana, Manish Narwal was born with a deformity in his right hand, but this did not stop him from achieving remarkable success. Although he initially aimed to be a footballer, his journey took a turn in 2016 when his father introduced him to a shooting range in their hometown. There, he began training with coach Rakesh Thakur. From that moment, Narwal’s career took off, leading him to win a bronze medal at the 2019 World Championships and a gold medal in the mixed team event at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics.
