India’s sprinter Preethi Pal added another medal for the country at the Paris Paralympics after winning bronze in the Women’s 200m – T35 on Sunday in Paris. The sprinter from Uttar Pradesh finished with a time of 30.01, which is also her personal best. Xia Zhou won the gold medal with a time of 28.15, which is her season best.

Preethi Pal scripted history as she became the first-ever Indian woman track and field athlete to win two medals at the Paralympics or Olympics. Earlier, she bagged bronze in the 100m event at the Paris Paralympics on Friday.
