Actualmente, dos de los tres estadios de Pakistán están en proceso de renovación en los meses previos al Champions Trophy 2025.
Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Mohsin Naqvi issued strict instructions for timely completion of the renovation works in Lahore’s Gaddafi stadium. The venue is among the two stadiums which are currently being upgraded ahead of the Champions Trophy in 2025. Even as renovations works are ongoing in full swing, it remains uncertain if the tournament will be moved out of the country due to India’s unwillingness to travel or should a hybrid model be adopted.

“The steel fixing work should be completed quickly. The construction work should be completed within the timeline,” Naqvi said.

India last visited Pakistan in 2008 during Asia Cup. As things stand, there is a lot of diplomatic tension between India and Pakistan. Hence, the Indian govt may not allow it. But considering India will host the Women’s World Cup 2025, Asia Cup 2025, and T20 World Cup 2026, Pakistan could retaliate.
