New Zealand cricket team batter Rachin Ravindra is wasting no time in preparing for what will be a tough series against India. The Kiwis will take on the Men in Blue in a three-match affair in November. Rachin, who played for CSK in IPL 2024, is currently at CSK’s high-performance centre in Chennai where he is working on his batting ahead of the one-off Test against Afghanistan in Greater Noida.

As per The Hindu, Rachin revealed that a part of his training was aimed at getting used to the red and black soil pitches in the sub-continent. He also shared insights on how overseas batters have to modify their technique as per the conditions in India. The southpaw is excited to lock horns with India and admits that they were a tough side to beat, given their record in Tests at home.

It’s going to be tough, and we will look to take the stuff that we learned from the last series here. They are a world-class team for a reason, and hopefully, we can give them a run for their money,” Rachin Ravindra said.
