As the Paris Paralympics near their end, India has so far won 26 medals, including a historic 6 golds. The spirit and hunger for medals continue on Day 10 (7th September), as many Indian para-athletes are eyeing medals in their respective events.

India has a strong chance of winning a few more medals. Hopes are pinned on Navdeep Singh, who will compete in the men’s javelin throw F41 event. Simran Sharma is also in contention, as she will be running in the finals of the women’s 200m T12.

Tokyo Olympian Prachi Yadav is a strong contender for a medal in the Women’s Va’a Single 200m VL2 event. Meanwhile, Dilip Gavit has an outside chance at a podium finish, but he will need to significantly improve his personal best in the finals to stay in medal contention.
