The trio of Mohammed Siraj, Akash Deep, and Yash Dayal, who have been a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL, will now represent India in the upcoming Test series. While Siraj has been a regular on India’s Test side, the inclusion of Akash Deep and Yash Dayal has surprised many, providing an excellent opportunity for emerging talents.

Akash Deep’s outstanding performance in Duleep Trophy

Akash Deep has been in excellent form, performing brilliantly in the ongoing domestic Duleep Trophy. Playing for India A, he took a total of nine wickets in the match against India B, with four wickets in the first innings and five in the second. His impressive performance has earned him a well-deserved spot in the Indian Test squad.

Yash Dayal’s consistent display

Yash Dayal, playing for India B in the Duleep Trophy, has also delivered strong performances. In the match against India A at Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium, Dayal took four wickets, with one in the first innings and three in the second.
