La ronda anterior de la Copa Duleep se jugó en Bengaluru y Anantapur, ganando India B e India C.
The first day of the second round of the Duleep Trophy was a blockbuster. 645 runs were scored in 161 overs in Anantapur across two venues. In a day dominated by batters, one century and three fifties were scored. India C’s Ishan Kishan proved to be the best batter of the day, as he scored his 7th first-class century.
Shams Mulani wasn’t too far either. He ended with an unbeaten 88 and could enter into triple digits early tomorrow. The left-arm spinner was aided by Tanush Kotian, who scored a stunning half-century himself. They stitched a 92-run stand, which saw India A go from 93/5 to 288/8.
Before Ishan Kishan started his fireworks, Sai Sudharsan and Rajat Patidar scored 43 and 40, respectively. This set the platform up for Kishan to explode. Ruturaj Gaikwad, India C’s captain, had injured himself in the first over of the match but then returned in the 72nd over to end the day at 46*. At 357/5, they are poised to sail past 400 with ease and even 500 by the second session of the day.
