¡Gran PCB! proporciona 385 millones de rupias para mejorar los estadios para el Trofeo de Campeones ICC

Hosts for the ICC Champions Trophy, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has gone on to sanction a whopping 12.8 billion rupees or 385 crores for the upcoming tournament. The money has been allotted in the upgradation of the three stadiums in Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi to help meet the international standards that are required.

With not much time remaining, the three stadiums of the three different venues are undergoing massive changes. All with the same purpose of meeting the standards that are required at an international level. Among the three stadiums, the Gaddafi Stadium however has got the lion share of investment, i.e. 231 crores.

The stakes are pretty high, and the PCB is in no way to let anything slip between their fingers. The apex body of cricket in Pakistan has sanctioned over spending more than 100 crores INR across each of the three stadiums. But it is the stadium in Lahore that needs the most amount of money.

Apart from building and rebuilding the basic areas that are needed, the two giant LED screens at the stadium too are undergoing a massive upgradation. Throughout the stadium fresh seats are being installed while 480 LED lights too are bein replaced.
