The Pakistan cricket team has resorted to a rather unique approach to tackle India A in the Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup. The Shaheens will lock horns with India in their tournament opener on October 19. Ahead of the high-octane clash, Pakistan Shaheens skipper Mohammad Haris revealed that the team was strictly instructed to not speak about India in the dressing room.
Talking about India banned in Pakistan dressing room
As per Cricket Pakistan, Haris claimed that the move was aimed at keeping the pressure away from players. He claimed that Pakistan were focusing on preparing against other teams and not just India.
“Talking about India is banned in the dressing room. Players feel pressure when thinking about the match against India, and we don’t want to put them under pressure,” Haris said.

The Pakistan Shaheens will play against Oman on 21 October and their final group stage match against the UAE on 23 October. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals on 25 October, with the final set to be held on 27 October.
