The 11th season of the Pro Kabaddi League is set to start on 18th October, where all 12 teams will be vying for the coveted trophy. While every team has experienced coaches guiding players to bring out their best, it is equally important for a team to have a good captain who can lead them and make spontaneous decisions on the mat. This year will be interesting to watch as some teams have new captains who will be responsible for fixing last year’s mistakes, while others are sticking with their experienced leaders to maintain team culture on the field.
Two notable captaincy changes come from Bengaluru Bulls and Dabang Delhi K.C. Bengaluru Bulls will see the return of their star, Pardeep Narwal, who makes his comeback as captain. Known as the ‘Dubki King’, he will lead the team this season. Meanwhile, Dabang Delhi K.C. has opted for a dual captaincy approach in PKL 11, naming their star raiders Naveen Kumar and Ashu Malik as co-captains for the upcoming season.
