The fusions, transformations, and heightened powers of character in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero can make it hard to tell which fighters are the strongest in the game’s massive roster. Although many warriors have extremely powerful techniques, it can be tricky to determine if one is “better” than another. However, there are a few fighters that stand out as pinnacles of strength that defy any imposed limits.

Many characters in DB: Sparking! Zero are organized by Destruction Points (DP), or the amount it costs to put them on a team. The higher a fighter’s DP is, the stronger they typically are compared to other characters you can pick. Despite this system, characters are also given five core stats to help determine their comparative strength, including – HP, Attack, Ki, Combo, and Special Attack.

When Zamasu made a wish with the Super Dragon Balls to take over Goku’s body in an alternate timeline, he became the villain named Goku Black. This dark reflection of Dragon Ball Super‘s hero unlocked a new transformation called Super Saiyan Rosé that boasts incredible strength in DB: Sparking! Zero. While this form has low HP, it is extremely versatile compared to other fighters in the game.

One of the strongest strategies with Goku Black is to have a hit-and-run playstyle that capitalizes on your opponent’s confusion. This character is best in the hands of someone who has a mastery on all of the fighter’s skills.

Goku Black has the ability “Instant Transmission” that allows you to teleport behind your opponent instantly. However, those who underestimate the Universe 6 assassin are in for a rude awakening when they realize this fighter’s speed. Hit is one of the fastest characters in the game, with ultra-fast techniques that will leave your opponent’s head spinning.

Hit is well-rounded with decent Combo strength and above-average attacking power across the board. His Ultimate and normal super attacks deal great damage, but unlike other characters, they are incredibly difficult for enemies to avoid. With his “Time Skip” allowing him to teleport around the battlefield, you can pick and choose your moment to strike and end a match quickly.

8 Vegito (Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan)

Both Vegito and Gogeta are powerful fusions when in their Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan forms, or Super Saiyan Blue for short. However, Vegito is slightly stronger due to his abilities in DB: Sparking! Zero that gives him a unique strength compared to Gogeta. The “Full Power Charge” skill of Vegito in this form gives him a way to fully recover his Ki, allowing you to use stronger attacks more often.

Omega Shenron may not be a Giant character, but his health makes him feel like one. This fighter may have the highest health in the game and boasts the speed and firepower needed to keep up with many of the other warriors in the game.

The melee strikes of Omega Shenron deal tons of damage, but this character also has great screen control with persistent ki blast attacks. Boost skills allow you to empower yourself, ramping up your offensive capabilities even more. With an Ultimate move that’s very hard for opponents to avoid, you can endure for much longer in a fight with your superior health to build an attack that will settle a match.

6 Broly (Z, Legendary Super Saiyan)

Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan from Dragon Ball Z‘s eighth movie, has always been a strong character in the Budokai Tenkaichi series. This returns as a fact in DB: Sparking! Zero due to the number of abilities that raise this character’s absurd strength. Both the Super and Z variants of Broly have skills that automatically activate Sparking Mode, allowing you to reach a powerful state for only a couple Skill Points.

With six Skill gauge meters to use, Broly can use his Ultimate attack often and deal some of the highest damage possible in a single strike. If you can catch your opponent in this attack, you can easily wipe out half their life, or more if they are using a low-cost DP character.

The God of Destruction for Universe 7 is Beerus, the food-obsessed deity who is among the strongest characters in the series. This is reflected in DB: Sparking! Zero‘s cast of fighters through Beerus’ mastery of Special Attacks and Ki manipulation. Beerus can pelt opponents from afar with explosive projectile attacks before closing in quickly for strong melee strikes to finish them off.

Unlike many characters, Beerus has a way to recover his own health during a fight. This skill does take three seconds to activate though, so only use it after you have gained enough space from your opponent or have knocked them away with a powerful attack.

4 Jiren (Full Power)

Jiren (Full Power) is the strongest form of the Universe 11 Pride Trooper that contended against Ultra Instinct Goku, Android 17, and Golden Frieza all at once in the Tournament of Power’s climax. Similar to his base form, Jiren is the most dominant all-rounder character in the game, without a single “bad” stat to speak of. With high HP, Attack, Special Attack, and Ki, Jiren can do a bit of everything well.

3 Whis

Embody The Angel Of Instinct

Whis is the Angel guardian of Beerus and also the God of Destruction’s teacher, which is reflected in how he fights. Whis is a master of Ki, with defensive techniques that make him almost impossible to confront during a battle. Despite lower health than most fighters in DB: Sparking! Zero, Whis possesses some of the highest damage from his super and Ultimate attacks without the need of any buffs.

Similar to Beerus, Whis also has regenerative powers through his “Snack Time” ability. This skill allows you to recover health, making an already hard-to-attack character even harder to take down. This ability doesn’t carry as many risks either, making it an ability you can rely on rather than something you have to use sparingly.

2 Goku (Super, Ultra Instinct)

The strongest form of Dragon Ball‘s main character is Ultra Instinct, the mastered form of the gods that specializes in moving in battle without thinking. This character has the most health out of any form Goku has, with some of the best super attacks in the game. Gogeta (GT, Super Saiyan 4) is by far the strongest character in DB: Sparking! Zero, continuing his reign as the fighter in every Budokai Tenkaichi with the highest stats. Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta is not only the strongest fusion, but also perhaps the fighter with the highest raw attacking power. Both Gogeta’s special and normal attacks do absurd damage, knocking out foes with lower health very quickly.

“Power Up to the Very Limit” is an ability Gogeta can use to enter Sparking Mode, giving him a great way to go to max power fast. In the right hands, Gogeta can simply out-damage any of the other strongest fighters in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero and endure longer to make sure every fight always swings in his favor.
