According to Cricbuzz, the Mumbai batter has been ruled out of his side’s upcoming Ranji Trophy match against Tripura due to a need for rest.
Toll on Shreyas Iyer, set to miss Tripura clash
Iyer, who recently scored a century against Maharashtra in the Ranji Trophy, has been playing consistent cricket across various formats. However, the physical toll of playing seven consecutive multi-day games seems to have caught up with him. The seven games include two Buchi Babu Tournament clashes, three in the Duleep Trophy and two in the Ranji Trophy.
