While Sai Sudharasan went on to score a century, Devdutt Padikkal sizzled with a 88-run knock. However, the departure of these two set batters triggered a collapse for India A. While Baba Indrajith departed after scoring just 6 runs, Test aspirants Ishan Kishan (32) and Nitish Kumar Reddy (17) failed to convert their starts into good knocks in the contest despite stitching together a decent partnership.

Mukesh Kumar, Prasidh Krishna and Manav Suthar bagged one wicket each to reduce Australia A down to 3 wickets.
