Mumbai batter Sarfaraz Khan has a stellar record with the bat – may it be in the domestic circuit or the IPL. Once a part of Royal Challengers Bengaluru, he could find himself reunited with RCB in the IPL 2025 auction. He has been released by Delhi Capitals (DC) despite having a promising year so far with the bat.
Why RCB should buy Sarfaraz Khan in IPL 2025 auction?
From 2015 to 2019, Sarfaraz Khan spent his early years in IPL with the trophy-less franchise. He played under the captaincy of Virat Kohli for most of his time in RCB and even earned praise from the latter for one of his outrageous knocks. He moved on to PBKS ahead of IPL 2020 after being picked up for Rs 25 lakhs. He was retained by the side in 2020. He moved to Delhi Capitals eventually and has now been released by the franchise.
