Ritika Sajdeh react rocks
Ritika responded to a post by former Australian captain Aaron Finch, who expressed his support for the Indian captain’s decision to prioritize personal life over the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. She showed her agreement by commenting with a salute emoji.
Aaron Finch said on his post, “I disagree with Sunny on that totally. Rohit Sharma is the captain of the Indian cricket team. If you need to stay at home because your wife is having a baby… that’s such a beautiful moment… and you take all the time that you need in that regard.”
What Sunil Gavaskar said?
Gavaskar criticized Rohit Sharma for missing the first two games of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, suggesting he should not have traveled as captain under such circumstances.
“We’ve been hearing that Rohit Sharma might skip the first Test, possibly the second as well. If that’s the case, I believe the Indian selection committee should step in and say, ‘If you need rest or have personal matters to attend to, that’s fine. But if you’re missing two-thirds of the series, you should participate only as a player. We’ll appoint the vice-captain as the tour’s captain,’” Gavaskar stated.
