We started the Monday Night show as Seth Rollins, Bronson Reed, Sheamus, and Bron Breakker arrived in the arena ahead of their respective bouts.
Liv Morgan
The WWE Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan, kicked off the show alongside Raquel Rodriguez. Morgan picked up the mic and welcomed the crowd to ‘Monday Night Morgan’.
The World Champion stated that she knew Bianca and Cargill were there, and she also knew the tag champs weren’t alone.
Morgan then mentioned that she hadn’t come alone either, as Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, and Candice LeRae walked to the ring. Jax grabbed the mic and said that she didn’t like or dislike Raquel, and she stated the same for the World Champion.
Jax then shared that she couldn’t stop thinking about Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Naomi, as the tag champs, along with Naomi, interrupted their entrance. Bianca then said that she hadn’t come alone either, as Iyo Sky made her entrance.
Morgan stated that the tag champs weren’t smart because Liv still had five members on her side, while the rival team didn’t have the numbers advantage. Morgan then challenged Bianca, asking who would be brave enough to throw the first punch.
Rhea Ripley returns
Rhea Ripley’s music hit as she made her surprising return on Monday Night Raw. Ripley picked up the mic and yelled “WarGames!” before headbutting the World Champion.
A brawl breaks out as Ripley takes the fight outside and brutalizes Morgan, Iyo Sky takes out Raquel, Candice, and Jax. Bianca, Sky, Cargill, Naomi, and Ripley stood tall in the ring as Morgan’s team retreated.
LWO vs American-Made
Rey Mysterio, alongside Zelina Vega from the LWO faction, made their way into the arena for their mixed tag-team match against American-Made. Back from commercials, Chad Gable and Ivy Nile from the American-Made faction entered next for the match.
Before the match could officially start, Nile and Vega began brawling inside the ring. The bell rang as Vega and Nile took their fight outside, and Gable started the action against Mysterio. The WWE legend took control of the match, but a distraction by Nile helped Gable even the odds.
American-made double-teamed Mysterio, with Gable launching Rey into the ring post and attempting a cover. Mysterio rallied back and tagged in Vega, and the action shifted to Vega and Nile.
Vega quickly gained control, but Nile used her brute force to turn the tide, as the match rolled into a commercial break. Back from the commercials, Nile was in control, stopping Vega from making the tag.
Vega fought back and took out Nile, but Gable entered the ring and locked in a leg lock to prevent the tag. Zelina landed a kick and tagged in Mysterio. Rey quickly manhandled Gable with high-flying moves and went for the cover.
Gable kicked out and landed his own offense, climbing to the top rope, but the Hall of Famer at ringside stopped his attack. Vega and Mysterio double-teamed to catapult Gable from the top rope.
Zelina cleared Nile from interfering as Mysterio landed the 619 to secure the win via pinfall in the first match of the show.
After the match, Julius and Brutus Creed along with Ivy stepped into the ring to console Gable after the mixed-tag match defeat.
