Así es como se compara el equipo de los Indios de Mumbai después de la subasta Ravichandran Ashwin IPL 2025.
As all would now know that Ravichandran Ashwin has conducted a successful auction of his auction. Yes, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) released spinner organized his own Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mock auction, where all the ten franchises assembled their rosters for the upcoming season. Mumbai Indians (MI), the joint-most successful team, got hold of last season’s most expensive player, Mitchell Starc. From Rs 24.75 cr, Starc would earn Rs 14 crore, according to Ashwin’s mock IPL auction.
IPL ‘mock’ Auction: Jofra Archer blip but Jasprit Bumrah partners found!
With their batting-heavy retentions, including Rohit Sharma, Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya, MI desperately need to amp up and prioritize their bowling department. Thus, in the mock auction, MI bidders went all in with at least two overseas pace bowling option. They bought Starc for a whopping Rs 14 crore, MI’s costliest signing at Ashwin’s auction. Moreover, they resigned Jofra Archer for Rs 5 crore.
While we all know that Archer won’t be participating at the real IPL 2025 mega auction, Ashwin’s auction held before November 15, the date when BCCI announced the IPL 2025 auction players list. Ever since Rahul Chahar left, MI have been without quality spin options. To address this, MI bought Wanindu Hasaranga, and Suyash Sharma. Getting Hasaranga at Rs 2 crore is actually a steal. They even utilized their only RTM card for uncapped talent, Akash Madhwal (Rs 2cr).

To strengthen the batting unit further, wicket-keeping options include recent Australia skipper Josh Inglis and Ryan Rickelton, who plays for MI’s sister franchise MI Cape Town in SA20. Kyle Mayers, Moeen Ali, Rovman Powell, Kuldeep Sen and Mukesh Chowdary and Kumar Kushagra also included. So MI fans, would you be happy if the Mumbai Indians’ squad look somewhat similar to this after the IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah?
