Stuart Broad picks England as favourites in PAK vs ENG series

Ahead of the series, Broad backed the aggressive Bazball approach to do wonders in Pakistan. The former pacer pointed out that the England batters weren’t afraid of taking on spin bowlers and stressed for the need to play fast-paced cricket in sub-continental conditions to get the desired results. The famed approach of Brendon McCullum and Ben Stokes failed to work when England visited India earlier this year and were handed a series defeat. Additionally, Broad pointed out that Pakistan was struggling to play good cricket at the moment.

Pakistan have not been playing the best cricket. They’ve been struggling, so England should see that as a positive and go there trying to apply pressure to that team as soon as they possibly can,” said Broad.
