13 Best World Seeds In Terraria

Terraria has been a staple of the sandbox genre for over a decade. New players are constantly starting new worlds, seeking to explore and build something new. Often, they will spawn into a random world seed for an unknown challenge, but some prefer to start with something familiar. If you’re looking for a particular sort of seed, there are some high-quality seeds to play with.

To load into a specific seed, simply change the world seed when creating your new world. The game will drop you into that specific world as a result. The tricky part is deciding what seed suits your interest. Some of the game’s best seeds are unique and exciting challenges, while others are perfect for an easy start.

13 For The Worthy

Heightened Difficulty, More Explosions

  • Explosives Everywhere
  • Increased Enemy Health/Damage
  • Lava Pools
  • Infected Floating Islands
  • Jungle Temples

  • Red Potions
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Demonite
  • Crimtane

For The Worthy is one of many secret world seeds in Terraria. Also known as Dostoiny Mir, this difficult seed is packed with explosions. Be careful with any pots you struggle to lift, as they contain bombs. Shaking a tree may result in a bomb dropped on your head. Even the bunnies explode in this seed.

Like many challenging worlds, enemies have increased health and deal more damage with their attacks, making survival harder. You’ll also have to face water pools replaced with lava, an exceedingly dangerous underworld, and infected floating islands. As you can see in the above video by YouTube creator Juce, many changes have added even more dangers to this world.

Red Potions also appear in Drunk World and Celebrationmk10, but give long-lasting debuffs. Red Potions are only good in For The Worthy.

Alongside huge Jungle Temples, there are spider nests, granite/marble caves, and glowing mushroom biomes in this seed. Red Potions are highly effective in this world while Mining is also easier, as blocks break twice as fast with a pickaxe or drill. You can mine more Go ld, Platinum, Demonite, and Crimtane in bigger, more common veins. These perks may not seem like a lot, but they make this secret world seed more exciting.

  • Rainbow Floating Islands
  • Jungle Mimic Enemy

Celebrationmk10 is a secret world seed developed to celebrate Terraria‘s tenth anniversary in 2021. The seed drops you straight into a Party and shows off a uniquely painted world with pink and cyan and purple tiles. Some of the NPCs at this initial Party are named after Terraria developers Andrew, Whitney, and Yorai.

As you further explore the world, you’ll find underground cabins painted rainbow and floating islands with hallowed water fountains. You even have a higher chance of getting a Rod of Discord, providing teleportation to your cursor’s location.

Celebrationmk10 is one of two seeds to feature the rare Jungle Mimic enemy, but beyond that, it functions much like a regular map, albeit with some altered drop rates and modifiers. It’s an exciting world seed that offers some exciting goods, such as the usually boss-locked jetpack, straight out of the gate.

11 Enchanted Swords

A Regular Seed With Early-Access Weapons

  • Enchanted Swords
  • Enchanted Sword Shrines

Enchanted Swords is one of two seeds on this list that is not a secret world seed. In fact, it is not an official seed at all, but rather a clever community discovery. By inputting this code with Crimson as the chosen evil zone in a medium-sized world, you’ll land in a world where the Crimson is largely subdued into one corner of the world. There are three enchanted swords in this world, one of which is Starfury on a floating island.

Starfury can summon falling stars to aid you in battle. You can find the other two enchanted sword shrines not too far underground. While the code below is excellent for beginners struggling to get a sword, there are other seeds out there that also have early-access enchanted swords, including 263549977, 1 258527751, and 1894389302, seen in Mahorty’s YouTube video above.

10 Don’t Dig Up/Remix

Spend The Entire Game Underground

Seed Code

Notable Features

Notable Items

  • Island of Ash
  • Instant Death Surface
  • Layers Of Underworld

Known as both the Remix seed and Don’t Dig Up, this special seed starts you underground. In fact, you’ll spend the entire game underground, as the surface world is incredibly deadly. The top of the map is instant death. This makes Don’t Dig Up a very difficult map, although the seed provides an island of ash in the center of the underworld that has easier enemies than the rest of the area.

The second layer of the map includes items typically found on the surface, like dirt. This allows you to get important surface resources without going up to the deadly surface.

9 Not The Bees

A Honey-Covered Adventure

Terraria Bees World

Notable Items

not the bees, notthebees, not the bees!

  • Golden Honey Water
  • Honey Jungles
  • No Micro-Biomes

  • Honey (lots of it)
  • Hive Blocks
  • Bee Larvae

If you’re not afraid of bees, you may enjoy the novelty of this secret world seed, known as Not The Bees. With this seed, the entire world will be a jungle covered in honey blocks, and every body of water will be replaced by endless waves of golden honey. Bee larvae spawn throughout the map. While floating islands remain largely untouched, most of the world turns into either a staple of the jungle biome or a honey-themed piece of decor.

Not The Bees leaves out multiple biomes and traps. Glowing moss, the Oasis, and the four micro-biomes do not appear in this seed. You also won’t run into shell piles, moss, geysers, or lava traps. Luckily, if you are a less experienced player who still wants to run through a fun world seed, Not The Bees is not a difficult experience, despite the rapid spread of hive blocks and bee larvae.

8 A Very Good Seed

  • Sunflower Minecart
  • Finch Staff

As the second unofficial seed on the list, A Very Good Seed is just that; a great seed to get high-quality items early on. The reason players love this seed so much is that you can quickly get a Sunflower Minecart and Finch Staff. The Finch Staff lets you summon finch minions, and while they are not one of the best summoner minions in Terraria, they are still excellent companions. The Sunflower Minecart, meanwhile, is a rare and pretty variant of the standard minecart.

You can only use the Sunflower Minecart on Minecart Tracks. You can craft 50 Minecart Tracks with one piece of wood and one iron bar on an anvil.

7 Drunk World

  • Biomes Mixed Together
  • Living Mahogany Trees
  • Gem Trees
  • Corruption Zone
  • Crimson Zone

  • Moon Lord Legs
  • Ore Variants

Despite the name, Drunk World is not a drunkenness simulator, but rather a secret world seed where every biome is mixed into one another in a Wonderland-esque creation of chaos. Each world generated with this seed will look different than another. The Guide will instead be the Party Girl and you can encounter both corruption and crimson zones in Terraria.

With Drunk World, you’ll be able to find both ore variants at every tier. Living mahogany trees cover the world, and you can obtain the special Moon Lord Legs, a piece of armor only found with this seed. You’ll be surrounded by Terraria‘s beautiful gem trees and have easy access to most biome resources. It is a wonderful and exciting world to explore.

  • Hunger Mechanics
  • New Survival Systems
  • Different Moon Cycles

  • No Lead Ore
  • No Platinum Ore
  • New Light Sources

The Constant is not just a secret world seed, but a crossover between Terraria and Don’t Starve Together. The world generated by these five seeds resembles that of Don’t Starve Together with a sepia tone filter and includes a unique hunger mechanic. Over time, you’ll move through various hunger phases until you start losing health. As such, you’ll need to eat to survive in this seed.

Cave systems in this world are long and looping, trailing diagonally across the map. You won’t find any lead ore or platinum ore in this world either. More importantly, without a light source, the night is deadly. Unless it is a full moon or blood moon, the night on the surface will be pitch black. You will die in seconds unless you can find some light. This can be tricky on rainy days, as rain snuffs torches, campfires, and lamps.

No Traps is a misnomer, as there are, in fact, a lot of traps. Every inch of the world is covered in traps of all sorts. The surface is full of dart traps and explosives. Head underground, and you’ll find bouncy boulders, wired statues, TNT barrels, geysers, and more. The enemies are no harder than in any other world, but you’ll be dodging traps as you do so, making exploration a nightmare.

To survive this wasteland of hidden traps, you’ll need a Dangersense Potion. These potions highlight hazards and traps in red, whether the area is well-lit or not. You can craft this potion with Bottled Water, ten Cobwebs, and Shiverthorn, which grows on snow and ice blocks. It also helps to keep a pressure plate on hand to trigger wired traps for you.

Some seeds in Terraria feature rare biomes that you have to track down, but this world spawns you within walking distance of three immediately. Two Marble Cave mini-biomes can be found to your left as you spawn into this world, offering rare items from even rarer enemies in each region. You begin this adventure in a Jungle, but can quickly find these Medusa lairs without any hardship.

Those who explore the areas to their spawn carefully in this seed can also find an above-ground Cabin waiting to be raided for some important materials and items.

You can also find another sparse biome called a Granite Cave here, giving you access to even more unexpected resources. On top of everything, a hidden Enchanted Sword Shrine in this seed can help you get the weapons you need to fight off the challenging monsters in these areas.

  • Granite Biome (Above-Ground)
  • Desert Pyramid
  • Above-Ground Cabins

  • Gold Treasure Chests
  • Furniture
  • Granite Blocks/Walls

One of the tedious parts about Terraria is usually how treasure is hard to find throughout a long adventure. However, this seed puts the treasure right in front of your face instantly, allowing for a stronger start that skips the grind of a fresh world. You start off near not one, not two, but three above-ground Cabins you can loot to rack up supplies fast from the moment you begin your journey.

The other main draw from this world is the above-ground Granite Cave mini-biome you can discover shortly after you spawn. This is almost unheard of in most Terraria seeds, making it incredibly easy to farm resources that you would normally have to dig deep underground to get. The Cave will have a Cabin similar to the ones you just raided with tools and materials ready for you to take.

Finally, you can find a Desert Pyramid in this world too, with a shocking three Golden Chests within it containing even more treasures to collect. As you can see in the above video by YouTube creator Mott, this Pyramid is very easy to find on this seed’s surface, fitting with the theme of easy-to-obtain loot.

Sometimes, all a good Terraria seed needs is an abundance of loot, which this world has in spades. Right as you begin, you can dig below some sunflowers to your left to obtain The Dirtiest Block, an item that lets you spawn a Dirt Block pet to help your character. The Desert biome along the same path has a variety of treasures for you to find underground very quickly, including strong gear like the Dunerider Boots.

With the addition of whips and other upgrades in the Journey’s End update, Summoners have many great weapons like the Firecracker to use in Terraria.

However, the most interesting part of this seed is a path to the Aether Realm, an extremely rare biome that only appears in a handful of worlds. Those looking for this guaranteed location can travel to coordinates (West 3584, Caverns 498) and dig down to eventually enter this Realm. From here, you can find even more amazing treasures from Gold Chests and the two ever-important Life Crystals.

  • Don’t Dig Up Seed
  • Not The Bees Seed
  • Celebrationmk10 Seed
  • For The Worthy Seed
  • The Constant Seed
  • Mechadusa Boss

  • Items From Other World Seeds

Get Fixed Boi is known as Zenith, or the Everything seed, because it is a mashup of all the other secret world seeds available in Terraria; Drunk World, Don’t Dig Up, Not The Bees, Celebrationmk10, For The Worthy, No Traps, and The Constant. The seed begins with Celebrationmk10’s Party, but all partygoers die afterward. Crispy honey blocks from Not The Bees act like Hellstone.

The juxtaposition of different world seeds mashed into one can make it difficult to gather the right resources. You’ll need to gather plenty of materials to have even the slimmest chance of survival throughout your adventure.

The Everything seed also includes an exclusive boss; Mechdusa. Mechdusa is a combination of the Destroyer, the Twins, and Skeletron Prime. It uses the abilities of all three bosses and behaves under their AI patterns. Mechdusa will have the damage/health bonuses featured in For The Worthy, giving it the highest health of any boss in the game.

Defeating it will be a hard fight, but if you’re ready for the Everything seed, you should have the skills to see another day. No other seed in Terraria can match the Everything seed.
