¿David Warner está fuera de la carrera de pruebas?

¿Veremos al ex abridor de pruebas australiano David Warner en el Trofeo Border-Gavaskar contra India después de salir del retiro?

India might have felt a sense of relief with David Warner’s retirement, thinking they had one less threat to contend with in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy. However, that relief was short-lived as Warner hinted he could return to the Australian squad at any time. The legendary Australian batter retired from Test cricket with a farewell match against Pakistan in January, but his potential comeback could pose a significant challenge for India in the BGT 2025.

Has David Warner come out from Test retirement?

David Warner has not come out from the Test retirement but he has claimed that he could take a U-turn if Australia need him in the side. it would not be a absurb move as other Australian like Ben Stokes had also taken a u-turn from ODI to participate in the ODI World Cup 2024.

“I’m always available, just got to pick up the phone. I’m always dead serious. Let’s be honest, the guys have played one red ball game (first round of the shield) since their last Test matches in February, so I’ve almost had the same preparation. Honestly, if they really needed myself for this series, I’m more than happy to play the next Shield game and go out there and play. I did retire for the right reasons to finish the game, and I wanted to finish. (But) my hand is up if they desperately need someone. I’m not going to shy away from that,”  Warner said to Code Sports.
