Throne And Liberty: 10 Best Weapon Combos

Throne and Liberty is heavily focused on guilds. Players who want to help their guild succeed will need to develop the best builds for their characters. Part of that is determining the best weapon combos. Unlike most MMORPGs, the traditional class system is replaced by the ability to choose two weapons. These weapons determine what abilities and playstyle players end up with. For example, some guns are great for melee players, while others are good for support and healing players.

There are several weapons to choose from and even more combinations. Choosing weapons that complement each other is important to build the best character. Players will need to pick a weapon for their dominant and secondary hands. Choosing the right weapons comes down to a player’s specific play style. The weapon choices below are some of the best and cater to all different styles.

10 Wand & Dagger

Perfect For Ranged And Melee Attacks

The Wand & Dagger weapon combination is good for those who enjoy both ranged and melee attacks while also enjoying playing support. When using the Wand & Dagger combo, you should keep a watchful eye on both friend and foe and use abilities like Curse Explosion and Swift Healing to make the best of your build. It would be best if you also watched your mana, as the Wand & Dagger combo has a high cost.

Throne and Liberty: Best Stats To Level Early

Depending on your class in Throne and Liberty, you’ll want to focus on leveling up certain stats that match your archetype’s unique strengths.

Another benefit of using the Wand & Dagger combo is that it has good DPS and AoE. Unlike most weapon combinations, you’ll get the benefit of using either weapon as your primary one. The choice depends on your particular play style.

Pros

Cons

  • High DPS
  • High AoE
  • Good for ranged, melee, or support

The Wand should be your primary weapon if you prefer ranged attacks. If you prefer melee fights, then choose the Dagger. If you do go with the Dagger and find yourself in a tough situation, you can use abilities like Camouflage Cloak and Swift Healing to overcome hurdles.

9 Crossbow & Dagger

Deal Burst Damage With This Combo

For those who like dealing burst damage, as shown in Zerad‘s video, the Crossbow & Dagger combo in Throne and Liberty is a great option. It’s decent in both PVE and PVP situations and is known to have the highest burst damage in the game when going against single targets. Both weapons can deal several hits in a matter of moments, granting you a continuous supply of Thunderclouds.

Make sure to equip your weapons in the correct hands. Yes, it matters. Dagger & Crossbow yield different results than Crossbow & Dagger.

Since the Crossbow and Dagger are dual-wielded weapons, there’s a chance to attack a second time after attacking the first time. Plus, this weapon combination can deal up to 40 hits per second and has a high mobility rate.

Pros

Cons

  • Good mobility
  • Good single-target DPS
  • Potential to attack twice
  • High burst damage

However, this combination has a downside: it comes with a high cost of mana. So, when choosing the Crossbow & Dagger weapon combo, make sure to prepare your buffs and skills for the man you’re about to lose. The Mana Exchange buff can help, as can the Block Blade skill.

8 Greatsword & Crossbow

Great Combo For PVP Battles

Greatsword and Crossbow Masteries in Throne and Liberty

The Greatsword & Crossbow weapon combination might not be the greatest choice for PVE modes due to its low mobility, but when it comes to PVP, it’s a great option for those who like to tank. It offers decent CC, burst damage, and a high AoE. With this combination, you can engage in fights from over 24 meters thanks to the Crossbow or get up close and personal with your enemy with the Greatsword. Like Garen from League of Legends, the Greatsword lets you spin around the battlefield.

Pros

Cons

  • Great for tanking
  • Decent CC
  • Good burst damage
  • High AoE
  • Low base critical hit
  • Low base critical hit damage

Using the Greatsword & Crossbow in Throne and Liberty’s PVE means you’ll deal low-base critical hit and low-base critical hit damage. If you’re okay with those disadvantages, the Greatsword & Crossbow PVE combo still yields a high hit and a high heavy attack. For those in PVP, the Greatsword & Crossbow combo also comes with no stealth and a predictable engagement, but the high AOE and CC make it worth the sacrifices. Time your attacks carefully when using this combo.

7 Greatsword & Dagger

Deal A High DPS With This Combination

For DPS players like in Andriy Magerovskiy‘s video, pair the Greatsword & Dagger for a high-yielding damage-per-second weapon combination. What makes the Greatsword & Dagger combination so good is its high AoE, which makes it effective in larger battles. It comes with multiple CC abilities and high damage buffs, but it is combo-oriented, so if you’re uncomfortable using combos, this weapon combination might not be for you.

Focusing on the build, you can eventually reach a 300-skill damage boost and 500-heavy attack chances. This weapon combination becomes even deadlier with passive skills like Vital Force and Cold Warrior. Combined, the Greatsword has an increased critical hit chance, while the Dagger has an increased critical damage chance, which is perfect for those DPS players.

Pros

Cons

  • High AoE
  • High DPS
  • High HP
  • Good CC
  • Good heavy attack
  • Combo oriented
  • Close combat style

However, if you’re taking this weapon combo into your PVP battle, there are a few disadvantages to be aware of. First, this combination requires you to be in the melee range, so it’s not the combo for you if you’re uncomfortable being close to your enemy. Second, although it does have great AoE damage, the AoE won’t come until T2 Gear. Otherwise, its high HP hit, mobility and CC potential make it popular.

6 Greatsword & Sword and Shield

Keep Those Crowds Under Control

Another tank build, the Greatsword & Sword and Shield weapon combination, deals massive damage and CC, making this combination perfect for taking down groups. The Greatsword has the Blood Devotion buff, which redirects 70% of damage taken to your team while also increasing the damage your party does. However, there are long cooldowns for this weapon combo, which means you’ll need to prioritize skills that lower cooldowns. Skills like Morale Boost are helpful.

Pros

Cons

  • High damage output
  • High AoE
  • High CC
  • Great tank build
  • Close combat
  • High cooldown rate

Going into Throne and Liberty’s PVP with this combination? Passive abilities like Vital Force will improve your stats as a tank. Devastating Smash is another great skill to prioritize in PVP for the Greatsword & Sword and Shield combo. Since this combination will put you at the forefront of your group as a bruiser or frontline, you’ll be going head-to-head with the enemy team or boss, so be sure to use the significant damage of the Greatsword & Sword and Shield combo.

5 Longbow & Dagger

Good Burst And Mobility With This Weapon Combo

Another perfect DPS combo, as shown in Eredylls video, the Longbow and Dagger weapon combination, has decent burst potential and great mobility. It’s great when you have a single target, and thanks to its AoE coverage, it’s also good for group battles. Coupled with the Arrow of Vortex skill, you can knock enemies airborne. Alternatively, you can choose a skill like Flash Arrow for the AoE effects in clearing out groups.

Pros

Cons

  • Good burst
  • Good mobility
  • Great AoE coverage

The Dagger is a great secondary choice for most weapons, thanks to skills like a Camouflage Cloak, which allows you to escape tough situations. Due to its mobility and ease of escape attributes, the Longbow & Dagger combo is great for self-sustaining situations. However, it does come with a higher cooldown.

4 Wand & Longbow

A Splash Of Magic With Ranged Attacks

Player Standing With Longbow In Throne and Liberty

For those who prefer distance in their battles with a splash of magic, the Wand & Longbow combination is a must. It’s personally my favorite, too. I have always been drawn to magical abilities in video games. I felt no different about Throne and Liberty when choosing the Wand & Longbow as my go-to weapon. Not only do I get the long range of both the Longbow and Wand weapons, but I also get to deal magic damage.

To maximize the Wand & Longbow combination, focus on the main story to level up to 50. When introduced to Resistance Contracts, choose wisely. You’ll want Quality Lithograph Accessories first.

The Wand & Longbow combo has amazing long-range DPS and comes with a party cooldown reduction advantage. That’s not all, though. The Wand & Longbow has a chance of both party crit and party hit buffs, which can be helpful during challenges.

Pros

Cons

  • Long-range DPS
  • Party crit
  • Party hit

As your sub-weapon, the Longbow can kill groups at a distance, while the Wand can heal and attack. Pair that with the Deadly Marker cooldown reduction ability and Nature’s Blessing mana regen ability, and you’ll be an unstoppable attacking and healing force.

3 Sword and Shield & Dagger

Deal Burst To Single Targets

Player Fighting Enemy With Sword and Shield in Throne and Liberty

If you prefer to be quick on your feet and stealthy while also dealing with high-damaging attacks, then the Sword and Shield & Dagger weapon combination is a solid pick. As a stealthy option, the Sword and Shield & Dagger combo has a high survivability rate, which is good if you’re someone like me who has a high death rate in games. This is definitely my second favorite weapon combo to use.

Pros

Cons

  • Good CC
  • Good mobility
  • Good AoE
  • Good DPS
  • Good durability

Sadly, you won’t get much AoE with this combination, but you will get a high single-target burst. The Sword and Shield has abilities like Strategic Rush, which can disrupt enemy attacks. Then, with the Dagger abilities like a Camouflage Cloak, you can make quick getaways or sneaky attacks. The combination of abilities can put you on the frontline and allow you to soak up damage. Plus, you can gain control in engagements with abilities like Shadow Walker and Skillful Evasion or become harder to kill with skills like Immortal Pride.

2 Sword and Shield & Wand

Best Tank Build To Keep Allies Safe

Player Standing With Sword and Shield In Throne and Liberty

Tank builds are popular in Throne and Liberty, and for good reason. Tanks are responsible for keeping their team safe and being on the frontline. Who wouldn’t want that glory?

As another tank builds, the Sword and Shield & Wand weapon combination will keep you alive as long as possible. That means you’ll be able to keep your allies safe as long as possible. The Sword and Shield & Wand combo has decent healing attributes and high durability, but it also has the added benefit of high CC and AoE. Plus, the cooldowns on the Sword and Shield & Wand combo aren’t bad.

Pros

Cons

  • Healing
  • Good CC
  • High AoE
  • High DPS
  • High durability
  • Low damage
  • High cost of mana

However, the Sword and Shield & Wand combo is gear-reliant and costs a lot of mana. It also doesn’t do the most damage, so don’t expect to reap many kills. Use skills like Counter Barrier and Swift Healing to make the most of your high health and durability. If you can, get your hands on Tevent’s Grasp of Withering, which will take your build from great to monstrous.

1 Wand & Staff

Get An Early AoE Advantage

Player Using Staff Against Enemy In Throne and Liberty

The Wand & Staff weapon combination is one of the fastest in terms of leveling up builds. The Staff comes with an early AoE advantage, which makes it a potent starter weapon. Plus, with the Serial Fire Bombs and Inferno Wave skills, you can deal even more AoE damage and easily take out mobs. Then, once you hit level 30 in your Skill Specializations, you get even more AoE. The Wand & Staff combo is perfect for PVP, PVE, and Dynamic Events.

Low on mana? Unlock and use abilities like Inner Peace and Asceticism to keep your mana troubles away.

As the most flexible healer in Throne and Liberty, you can play the Wand & Staff weapon combination as a healer, DPS attacker, or both. Compared to similar combinations using the Wand, such as when paired with the Longbow, the Wand & Staff combo has a better AoE. So, if you intend to farm, this combination is far superior.

Whether you enjoy tanking, getting kills, or supporting your team, there’s a weapon combo for everyone in Throne and Liberty. While some are better than others, the one you choose should be fun for you and fit your playstyle. So, experiment and find what works best, then work on leveling that weapon combo up, and you’ll be unstoppable.
