Adam Sandler As Dr. Danny Maccabee

Character: Adam Sandler leads the Just Go with It cast as Dr. Danny Maccabee, a successful, L.A.-based cosmetic surgeon who uses a fake story about an unhappy marriage to attract women. In this film, he wants to hook up with Brooklyn Decker’s Palmer Dodge, so he gets his office manager Katnerin Murphy to pretend to be his wife so he can pretend he is going through a divorce to try to win Palmer over. However, love is right before his eyes.

Actor: After getting his big break as part of the cast of Saturday Night Live before being fired from the show, Sandler transitioned to the big screen with starring roles in hit movies like Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, and The Wedding Singer. Actor: The actress first rose to prominence with her role as Rachel Green in the seminal sitcom Friends. However, as the two kids blackmail Danny, they all realize they care for each other, and it helps convince Danny and Katherine that it is them who are meant to be together.

Character: Devlin Adams, the namesake of Katherine’s alias who also happens to be vacationing in Hawaii, is played by Nicole Kidman. She is the namesake for the woman that Katherine is pretending to be. The two were frenemies from college, and they actually run into each other while Danny and Katherine are in the middle of the subterfuge in Hawaii. She is a part of them realizing they deserve to stop lying to themselves and admit to their love.

Actor: The actress broke through in the late 1980s with her lead role in the chilling psychological thriller Dead Calm. Dave Matthews as Ian Maxtone-Jones: Devlin’s husband, Ian Maxtone-Jones, is played by Dave Matthews, who became famous as the lead vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist of the Dave Matthews Band. He had previously made cameo appearances alongside Adam Sandler in I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry and You Don’t Mess with the Zohan.

Kevin Nealon as Adon: One of Danny’s most loyal clients, Adon is played by Kevin Nealon. Like Sandler, Nealon was a cast member on Saturday Night Live, where he eventually anchored the Weekend Update segments. He also played Doug Wilson on Weeds and voiced the title character on Glenn Martin, DDS.

Rachel Dratch as Kirsten Brant: Rachel Dratch appears in the Just Go with It cast as Kirsten Brant, Danny’s client with shifting eyebrows. Dratch is another former SNL cast member who worked with Adam Sandler. While on the sketch comedy show, she was best known for playing Debbie Downer. She later reunited with Sandler again to play his character’s wife, also named Debbie, in The Week Of.

Minka Kelly as Joanna Damon: The first woman Danny’s unhappy marriage story works on, Joanna Damon, is played by Minka Kelly. The actress is best known for playing Lyla Garrity on Friday Night Lights and Dawn Granger, better known as Dove, on the superhero series Titans.
