As it is former India skipper Virat Kohli is struggling for form, and the Aussies already have a plan in mind, to “sledge him out”. The IND vs AUS first Test in Perth begins on November 22, and there are early signs, that Team India is going to be on the backfoot. One of the key problems, of course is, Virat failed to score much against New Zealand and Bangladesh, in the last two series’.

Virat Kohli Struggles in Tests

His Test average has dropped to an all-time low of 47.83, and in the last few innings, he has only managed to score 6,17, 47, 29, 0, 70, 1, 17, 4 & 1. Ever since coming to Australia, in the intra-squad match as well, Virat Kohli struggled big time, and even suffered a mysterious injury. But is is time, that the 36-year-old overcame all these issues.

Meanwhile, Australia all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has made comment that might just rile up the Indian even further. He said, that he will shoulder charge Virat when he reaches his 30s. “I think I’m going to shoulder charge him when he gets to 30, just take him out,” Mitchell Marsh was quoted as saying by Fox Sports.

IND vs AUS Tests

On the other hand, Mitchell Starc has other plans for Virat Kohli. He said, that he won’t particularly sledge the Indian batter, but let his ball do the talking.

“I got to play alongside Virat for a couple of years in the IPL, so I got to know him off the field a bit and I have always enjoyed the battles together. But I don’t think it’s like him or I have cracks back or forth. It’s more about the cricket and enjoying the contest. So he’s not someone I have riled up or tried to rile up. You just have to try and let the cricket do the talking,” Starc was quoted by Fox Sports.
