had no lasting couples from the finale, leaving fans hopeful for Season 3. - Despite the romantic connections on the show, many couples, like Chloe and Shayne, did not last outside of the villa.
Netflix’s dating show Perfect Match ended with a finale that saw multiple reality stars together. The show was filmed in 2022, which means it’s probably not likely that all the couples are still together, but it is fun to see what they are up to today.
Perfect Match Season 1 ended with Georgia Hassarati and Dom Gabriel being voted the titular “Perfect Match,” winning an all-expenses vacation anywhere of their choosing. However, fans were left wondering if they, or any of the other couples, are still together.
Out of the 20-plus contestants, only five couples made it to the finale: Chloe Veitch and Shayne Jansen; the winners Georgia Hassarati and Dom Gabriel; Kariselle Snow and Joey Sasso; Izzy Fairthorne and Bartise Bowden; and Lauren “LC” Chamblin and Nick Uhlenhuth.
So, who actually found their perfect match on the first season of the Netflix dating show?
Updated July 2024: In addition to Season 1 of “Perfect Match” not producing any long-term couples, Season 2 was no better. Of the five couples that made it to the finale, Chris and Tolú, Alara and Stevan, Micah and Kaz, Elys and Bryton, and Christine and Nigel, none of them managed to make things work outside the show. But with Season 3 already greenlit by Netflix, there is always a chance that the next cast of couples will go the distance.
8 Perfect Match Winners Georgia Hassarati And Dom Gabriel
Georgia Hassarati and Dom Gabriel are no longer together
Dom Gabriel was heartbroken when Francesca Farago chose Love Is Blind’s Damian Powers on Perfect Match instead of him. He wasn’t lonely for too long as Georgia Hassarati asked him to match up. Despite people questioning the authenticity of their connection, the pair’s bond was so strong it won them the competition.
But after the show ended, the two parted ways before they could even enjoy the vacation they won, as Georgia explained to People.
“We’re not together. He’s amazing, and I feel like we tried to see where things could go after the show.”
Georgia went on to say, “We were just both in very different situations and we’re both from so far away from each other, Australia, Canada. I feel like when you’re in that environment you’re like, ‘Oh, it’s going to be fine. We’ll make it happen.’”

7 How Dom Gabriel Feels About Georgia Hassarati After Perfect Match Ended
Dom Gabriel said that it was long distance that made the couple break up but that he has “so much love” for his former flame
Perfect Match’s Dom Gabriel says that he still has “so much love” for Georgia Hassarati, but their distance made their relationship difficult.
“I think she has a beautiful soul, a beautiful heart inside and out.”
Dom went on to say, “I think any guy that’s with her is so lucky to have her, I think they’re the luckiest man on Earth. Obviously, after the show, there’s distance. She’s from Australia, I’m from Canada. It’s hard.”
Dom said they “tried our best to make it work and keep in contact” given the tough circumstances, but they ultimately decided “focus on ourselves and see what the future holds.”
“And if we meet again and the connection is still strong, then we’ll carry on and see where it went.”
The two did not ultimately get back together.
6 Perfect Match Couple Chloe Veitch And Shayne Jansen
Chloe Veitch and Shayne Jansen made it to the finals but ultimately broke up
Sparks flew between Love Is Blind’s Shayne Jansen and Too Hot To Handle’s Chloe Veitch almost immediately when she entered the villa. But after being put on a surprise date with her ex from The Circle, Mitchell Eason, she decided to reconnect with him.
Chloe’s romance with Mitchell failed to blossom when 23-year-old Mitchell decided he wasn’t interested in a serious relationship with the 24-year-old British model. Chloe decided to get back with Shayne, ultimately making it to the finals.
Sadly, Chloe and Shayne are no longer together, as Chloe explained to People.
“I see some colors that I didn’t like. I quite like pink. I don’t like red.”
Chloe went on to say, “So after the show, we decided not to take things any further.”
“I feel like when I first met Shayne, it was sparks in the air. I felt like Netflix put me and him together because they knew we would be perfect,” Chloe explained. “And I was so lost in that hope. I was in love with the idea of being in love, and I was obsessed. And then as soon as the road got a little bit rocky and I had to kind of make certain decisions to bring Mitchell into the house to see if anything with him was going to happen.”

She added, “And when it didn’t, I was like, no. Do you know what? My gut is telling me, Shayne. There was some moments where he couldn’t accept that, and he needed a bit of reassuring. And I’m the number one reassurer because I know how it feels. But we did butt heads quite a lot and towards the end I was like, I feel like you are my perfect match.”
5 Perfect Match Favorites Joey Sasso And Kariselle Snow
Joey Sasso and Kariselle Snow got engaged but ultimately called their engagement off
Sexy Beast’s Kariselle Snow and The Circle’s Joey Sasso previously dated before appearing on Perfect Match. Although Kariselle kissed Too Hot to Handle‘s Chase DeMoor, her and Joey mostly resolved their real-world issues in the villa.
In the finale, Joey proposed to Kariselle who accepted it. Sadly, their engagement didn’t last in the real world.
“But here’s the thing, when you’re overseas, you’re in this beautiful village, so romantic, and you’re working on your relationship, you’re working on your future. And when you go back to reality, sometimes things can be very difficult,” Joey revealed in a post-show interview “They can be very hard.”
“And as far as what went wrong, that’s just something that we like to keep private between us.”
“It’s not like it was a lot of drama, but I think that you could see when you watch the show, we’re the type of people that when our highs are high, they’re extremely high,” Joey continued. “When our lows are low, they can be very low.”

4 Perfect Match‘s Izzy Fairthorne And Bartise Bowden
Izzy Fairthorne and Bartise Bowden broke up due to distance getting in the way
Izzy Fairthorne and Bartise Bowden’s relationship took a little while to get going on Perfect Match. Their pairing came after Too Hot To Handle’s Izzy was linked to Shayne and Nick, and Love Is Blind’s Bartise connected with both Ines Tazi and Abbey Humphreys.
And while the reality TV pairing believe they “get each other,” they understood that their “biggest challenge” going forward would be the distance when asked about their relationship in the finale.
“The time we’ve spent in here has been good,” UK-based Izzy explained. “But obviously, distance is a big thing.”
“I think if one of us said we were a perfect match, I don’t think it would be real.”
Bartise added, “I think we’re both very realistic, and she said it first on our date today, and I was not surprised to hearing it. I would’ve been surprised if she said, ‘You are my perfect match.’”
Although he hasn’t confirmed it, Bartise has been seen locking lips with a woman in Dallas.
3 Perfect Match‘s Lauren ‘LC’ Chamblin And Nick Uhlenhuth
While there was the possibility for “potential”, LC Chamblin and Nick Uhlenhuth ultimately did not stay together
Love Is Blind’s LC Chamblin was a late entry into the competition, while The Circle’s Nick Uhlenhuth failed to find a match at the start. The pair didn’t really get enough time to connect by the time the finale came out.
Although they both felt “comfortable” in the situation, Nick admitted he was concerned about dating long-distance.
“It’s just, like, an extra roadblock on top of not really having much time to get to know each other yet.”
Nick added that “he got to know the person” better prior to entering his last long-distance relationship.
“I do think that there is potential there,” Nick admitted in the finale. “But right now, I can’t say that you’re my perfect match.”
LC admitted in the finale that it would be “kind of insane” for them to believe they’re a perfect match so soon after getting to know each other.
2 Perfect Match‘s Francesca Farago And Damien Powers
Franchesca Farago and Damien Powers did not make it past the eleventh episode of Perfect Match
Francesca Farago and Damien Powers broke up on the eleventh episode of Perfect Match. On the show, she told him that she didn’t think their relationship would work off camera, as Francesca explained.
“I didn’t want to leave this house with anyone I wasn’t 100 percent certain on because leaving here in a relationship is so risky to me and I don’t want to do it unless I’m 100 percent certain.”
Francesca added, “But I don’t know if we would work outside of this house.”
“I know you like that I’m attractive, but we were so bad in that compatibility challenge,” Francesca said to Damien. “We don’t sit down and have in-depth conversations about anything. I don’t know if you know me deep down and I don’t know if I know you deep down. I’m just unsure I can move forward.”
1 Francesca Farago’s Feelings About Dom Gabriel After Perfect Match
Francesca Farago regrets not putting more effort into getting to know Dom Gabriel
Francesca Farago, who matched with Dom, Damian, and Abbey, told People she wishes she tried harder to make her connection with Dom work.
“I do regret the way that I ended things with Dom. I think I would’ve loved to give it more of a shot and see how it could have gone.”
Francesca went on to say, “But at the end of the day, every decision I made led me to where I am now. So I’m happy and I don’t regret anything.”
In an interview with Tudum in March 2023, Francesca confirmed that was in a relationship with her ex, TikTok star Jesse Sullivan. The two are engaged as of 2024 and expecting twins together.
“I ended up getting home and messaging someone I had already known,” Francesca revealed. “We connected right away, and we’ve been really happy together ever since. I’m in a super solid place in my relationship right now.”
