In the mixed doubles, with his Indonesian partner Aldila Sutjiadi, he beat the team of Demi Schuurs and Tim Putz 7-6 (7), 7-6 (5). Whereas in the men’s doubles encounter, the Bopanna-Matthew Ebden pair overcame Roberto Carballés Baena and Federico Coria 6-2, 6-4 to seal their spot in the pre-quarters.
