The India squad for the Bangladesh series is out hours after the end of the first round of Duleep Trophy. And to everyone’s surprise, Jasprit Bumrah has been named in the squad, ending his break. But as expected, Virat Kohli, who missed the England Tests, is back and so is Rishabh Pant after almost two years. Left-arm seamer Yash Dayal has got a surprise call-up for IND vs BAN Test after an impressive Duleep Trophy match.
Jasprit Bumrah was expected to rest for one more series before returning in the IND vs NZ Test series next month. However, selectors have cut short his break. The pacer also missed the Duleep Trophy match.
