Los medallistas de los Juegos Paralímpicos de París 2024 recibirán un premio combinado en metálico de 50 rupias lakhs de BAI

La Asociación de Bádminton de la India (BAI) recompensará a los ganadores de medallas de los Juegos Paralímpicos de París 2024 con una cantidad combinada de 50 rupias lakh.

The Badminton Association of India (BAI) will award a combined prize money of Rs 50 lakhs for the Paris Paralympics 2024 medalists. BAI president & Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma made the announcement following the success of Indian shuttlers in the recently concluded Para Games. India won a total of five medals in the para-badminton events in Paris.

BAI to reward Paralympics medalists with Rs 50 lakhs prize money

Nitesh Kumar, who bagged the gold medal in men’s singles SL3 category, will receive Rs 15 lakhs. Silver medalists Suhas Yathiraj and Thulasimathi will get Rs 10 lakhs each while bronze medalists Manisha and Nithya will get Rs 7.5 lakhs per person.

Indian Para badminton players have been performing consistently on the world stage and the cash rewards are just one way for BAI to recognise their efforts in helping the country win medals at the Paralympics,” BAI secretary general Sanjay Mishra said, as per Sportstar.
