Summary
-
One Tree Hill’s
9 seasons had highs and lows, with iconic episodes like the pilot, weddings, funerals, and season finales worth watching. - Despite flaws in later seasons,
One Tree Hill
has great character relationships and development and an influential soundtrack. - Some
One Tree
episodes are must-watches, but those that feature frustrating relationships or odd storylines can be skipped.
One Tree Hill successfully ran for 9 seasons from 2003 to 2012, but with 187 episodes, not every single one is worth watching. Over One Tree Hill’s 9 seasons, there were many highs and lows in quality, with the series sometimes dipping into absurd storylines to try and keep things fresh. Though there were cast members who stuck around throughout the show’s entire run, One Tree Hill’s later seasons were flawed due to the major character exits of Peyton and Lucas.
While One Tree Hill is far from the perfect series, and not everything has aged well, it’s easily rewatchable. It’s hard not to get attached to the characters, their development, and their ever-changing relationships with each other. Beyond this, One Tree Hill had one of the most influential teen drama soundtracks, with famous musical guests often making surprise appearances at TRIC and Karen’s Café. One Tree Hill was never a bad series, but there were some not-so-great episodes.

One Tree Hill: The Worst Ship In Each Season
While there are many sweet love stories on One Tree Hill, there are just as many couples in every season of the show who really shouldn’t be together.

Episode 13, “The Hero Dies in This One” – Skip It: Haley makes a nearly unforgivable decision, leaving Nathan behind. It’s frustrating and hard to stomach.

One Tree Hill
because actor Bethany Joy Lenz was performing on the “One Tree Hill Tour.”
