An interactive tracker monitoring casualties since the ceasefire, updated on January 20, 2026, continues to document the rising death toll.
Netanyahu Joins Gaza “Board of Peace” Despite War Crimes Allegations
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accepted an invitation from former US President Donald Trump to join the Gaza-monitoring “Board of Peace,” despite an arrest warrant issued against him by the International Criminal Court (ICC) over alleged war crimes committed in Gaza.
Netanyahu’s office confirmed his participation in the initiative, which was presented as part of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement with Hamas aimed at ending Israel’s war on Gaza.
However, Netanyahu’s controversial inclusion has raised serious concerns about the board’s neutrality. The body is expected to be led by Trump, who will reportedly maintain significant control over its leadership structure.

In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces arrested seven Palestinians during house raids in the Hebron district.
